Dr. Dan Coles

The Hornbrook Center for Dentistry is a General dental practice with an emphasis on cosmetics, sedation, and comprehensive care. Dr. Hornbrook started the practice 25 years ago in La Mesa, and is a native of La Mesa.

My name is Daniel B. Coles, and I am a general dentist with 32 years experience doing all types of dentistry. I graduated from BYU with a BS degree in Microbiology in 1974. I graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1978. I practiced in Utah in a thriving practice for 32 years. I have taken numerous post graduate training courses in IV sedation, Implant dentistry, complex restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. I was recognized as Best of State in Utah for dentistry for several years. I received my Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Personally I have 5 children (4 of which are dentists), and 16 grandchildren. I am an avid runner and have completed 30 marathons, including 2 Boston marathons. I love to bike, swim, and run, and have done triathlons. I love to water, and snow ski, and participate in nearly all outdoor sports. I love living in San Diego!
